News from the Town Centre DNO’s This week we have been informed that we have been granted a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) for Chelmsley Wood. This allows the council to place certain conditions to assist us tackling Anti-Social Behaviour. The conditions placed on Chelmsley Wood are as follows: The restricted area is that in and around the Bus Interchange. Failure to comply with a PSPO is a criminal offence however over the next few months we will be working with the council to engage in education for all businesses and persons in the area to allow everyone to fully understand what the PSPO entails. Also, this week officers have been working to ID youths that have been involved in Anti-Social Behaviour at McDonalds.
We have a Cuppa with a Coppa session booked at Lily’s Tea Parlour on 17th July 2025 between 12-2pm – feel free to pop down and meet the designated officers.
We look forward to welcoming you to our 2025 Open Day
It has been a bit cooler this evening for our Streetwatch Patrol but the weather is still very warm so stay safe and remember to secure your properties. Until next time. PCSO Vicki & PC stiles Chelmsley Wood DNO’s | ||||||||
